[Abstract] In this paper, we propose a traffic and travel information (TTI) system and intelligent vehicular terminal. The TTI system combines digital audio broadcasting (DAB) and intelligent urban traffic management. It is a platform for receiving and disseminating information from mobile sources, and provides real-time navigation, tracking, and entertainment. The intelligent vehicular terminal is designed for modern vehicle management and is based on DAB. The TTI broadcasting system obtains location information from the mobile network in order to track vehicles, and a vehicle’s intelligent terminal receives broadcasting, road information, and navigation in real-time from the DAB channel.
